Our licence
MatchCut Capital Pty Ltd (ACN [placeholder]) holds Australian Financial Services Licence No. [XXXXXX] issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). Under our AFSL, we are authorised to provide financial services to wholesale clients within the meaning of section 761G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
Services we are authorised to provide
Subject to the conditions of our licence, we are authorised to:
- Provide general financial product advice.
- Deal in a financial product by issuing, applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of interests in managed investment schemes.
- Operate registered and unregistered managed investment schemes.
- Provide custodial or depository services.
Wholesale clients only
Our financial services are offered exclusively to wholesale clients as defined in sections 761G and 761GA of the Corporations Act. We do not offer financial services to retail clients.
Related entities and interests
MatchCut may have material relationships with, and receive fees or other benefits from, the funds we operate, the issuers of financial products we recommend, and our service providers. Details of these relationships are disclosed in the information memorandum or equivalent offer document for each fund.
Remuneration
MatchCut is typically remunerated through management fees, performance fees, and/or arrangement fees charged to the funds we operate. Full fee disclosure is provided in each fund’s information memorandum.
Professional indemnity insurance
MatchCut maintains professional indemnity insurance that satisfies the requirements of section 912B of the Corporations Act for the financial services it provides to wholesale clients.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Internal disputes should be directed to compliance@matchcut.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and respond substantively within 30 days. Because MatchCut only deals with wholesale clients, it is not required to be a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA); however, we aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
